“What can believers do for the Gospel message to spread faster in Israel?” Over the years, this is one question that has been a major point of concern within Christians around the world. Personally, I believe one vital step we need to take is to bring the New Testament in Hebrew to everyone in Israel.
You see, while the Old Testament is widely available to all in Israel, the New Testament is not. The message of Yeshua is not known by many and not readily available. And we need the New Testament to properly understand the prophetic utterances in the Torah and other books of the Old Testament.
In this blog, we will discuss the importance of having the New Testament in Hebrew and what our ministry is doing to make it available electronically to all of Israel.
The Need for the New Testament in Hebrew
Evangelism in Israel has several peculiar challenges. In my opinion, one of the greatest is the wrong interpretation of Scripture by Jewish scholars. Today, there are many different teachings about the Messiahship of Yeshua. Sadly, many Jewish people do not have access to the New Testament in Hebrew to confirm whether or not the claims of these scholars are true.
Wrong interpretations of the Messianic prophecies have always been a problem in Israel. During Yeshua’s ministry and the early days of the church, the Pharisees were the greatest antagonists of the faith. They had a wrong interpretation of Scripture. This is why Yeshua warned His disciples to beware their doctrine (Matthew 16:6-12).
It seems like we are at the peak of misinformation right now. In years past, the perpetrators of wrong teachings have been non-believing Jewish rabbis, but today, false teachings are springing up even in Christian circles.
God saw this coming and warned us ahead of time in the Torah. In Deuteronomy 18:20, our Father God sounded an alarm that a time would come when some would speak in His name when He had not commanded them to do so. It is happening now. Many false messages are running rampant today.
As I said earlier, this anomaly seems more prevalent today because most Jewish people do not have access to the New Testament in Hebrew. If they had the means to examine the scriptures themselves, they would see the falsity of these erroneous teachings from God’s Word.
From the Apostle Paul’s teaching in II Corinthians 4:4, this is obviously the devil at work. Look at how the James Moffatt translation of the Bible renders the passage:
There the god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers to prevent them from seeing the light thrown by the Gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the likeness of God (II Corinthians 4:4)
Preventing people from seeing the light of the Gospel has been the devil’s work since Bible times. He’s doing the same evil work today. In case you wonder why the New Testament in Hebrew is rarely available in Israeli bookstores, I submit to you that the god of this world is the one at work.
The lack of availability of the New Testament in Hebrew has provided a major breeding ground for false teachings about Yeshua. The devil seeks to cripple the spread of the salvation-giving Gospel of Yeshua in Israel by preventing the truth from being heard there. Faith comes by hearing, right? (Romans 10:17).
As stewards of God’s grace, we are responsible for ensuring the Gospel prevails over this coordinated assault from the pit of hell. It is high time we wake up to our God-given responsibility to preach the Gospel to every soul in the house of Israel.
We Are Bringing the New Testament in Hebrew to Everyone in Israel
As a ministry, God has helped us to pioneer many projects to ensure that every Israeli can access the New Testament in Hebrew. We have the Free in Messiah Project, Hear O Israel Project, Israel Music Videos, and the soon-releasing WOW!BIBLE. By the grace of God, millions in Israel and beyond have heard (and will hear!) the Gospel through these God-inspired projects.

Hear O Israel
With our “Hear O Israel” Project, we are reaching Israelis on YouTube and other social platforms through high-quality animated videos in Hebrew. These animations bring the New Testament and specific writings of the Old Testament prophets to life, chapter by chapter. So far, over 6.3 MILLION in Israel have heard the Gospel through the “Hear O Israel” Project!
Earlier this year, God inspired us to go a step further in our evangelistic efforts of bringing the New Testament in Hebrew to the house of Israel. It was in response to this divine leading that we started the WOW!BIBLE project.
The WOW!BIBLE
Over the years, our ministry has trusted God in prayer for creative means to reach the lost sheep of the house of Israel, particularly to bring the New Testament in Hebrew to all. The WOW!BIBLE is one of the answers to this prayer. It is like nothing you’ve ever seen before. There’s nothing like it in Israel or the rest of the world!
The WOW!BIBLE features the Old Testament books of the Bible separated from each other and embellished with unique and artistic illustrations that melt the heart. We are designing this evangelistic tool to creatively link users to the beautiful stories of the New Testament Gospels and fulfilled Messianic prophecies that we have developed into touching video animations.
These animation videos will bring Messianic prophecies in the Torah and other portions of the Old Testament to life. They will bring New Testament in Hebrew to readers in a creative way.
Every book of the Old Testament will have QR codes linking to passages revealing Yeshua as the promised Messiah of Israel. When you open your smartphone’s camera and point it toward one of the QR codes, your phone will automatically show you a weblink that, with one simple click, will open the appropriate webpage. The webpage will contain animated videos in the Hear O Israel Project.
As I said earlier, these Hear O Israel videos are creative illustrations of passages in the New Testament that confirm the Messiahship of Yeshua. Through the integration of these two projects, the WOW!BIBLE and the Hear O Israel Project, millions of Israelis will have access to portions of the New Testament in Hebrew. We believe this will further break the devil’s hold of ignorance amidst the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
